Rooftop Solar Project Installations
David Magid is the founder of YSG, he is an executive with over 10 years of experience in the energy industry. David has designed, managed and developed several MW of rooftop solar throughout the Northeast. He operates YSG’s rooftop business along with C&I project development efforts. His areas of expertise include: prospecting, site due diligence, contract negotiation and system design. Most recently David had been named to Forbes “30 under 30” list in 2018. Prior to founding YSG Solar, David worked for an energy efficiency company focused on demand-side management. He has successfully operated teams of energy auditors, engineers and various trade contractors. David has a wide-range of experience in the implementation of clean energy technologies such as geothermal, wind, storage and energy management systems.
Man Kit Wu is a system design professional with over 20 years of experiences in experience in architectural design, construction and renewable energy. Mr. Wu holds certifications as a NABCEP PV Installer, LEED AP professional and BPI building analyst. Man Kit has completed hundreds of solar designs for both residential and commercial projects.
Bulent Osma is a project finance executive with over 25 years of transactional experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors, globally. As the COO of YSG Solar, Bulent Osma leads and manages the development and execution of a pipeline of approximately 50 MW of community distributed generation projects in the state of New York. He has an overall responsibility for the day-to-day activities, including but not limited to: site control, interconnection, and permitting processes during the development cycle. He is also responsible for identifying and negotiating teaming arrangements with strategic partners to raise additional capital at appropriate valuations to enable the company to meet its growth and market share objectives.
Prior to joining YSG Solar, Bulent Osma was the Founder and Managing Director of P50 Capital LLC, an independent advisory and investment banking firm providing financial advisory services and capital solutions for limited recourse transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors around the globe.
Bulent Osma was responsible for originating and executing financial advisory mandates involving various export credit agencies and multilaterals for large scale wind and solar plant financings, with an aggregate value of over $1 billion USD. Prior to founding P50 Capital LLC, Bulent Osma held senior executive roles with various financial institutions and development/equity investment firms.
Sean Keller is a project manager with years of experience in the energy industry in both the public and private sectors. Sean is a Bates College graduate with a degree in economics. In his past experience CUNY Office of Sustainability. Now, he is in charge of scheduling installations, ordering materials and coordinating with our installation crews. He also works in operations and management, ensuring projects are properly permitted and vetted with state utility companies and NYSERDA.
Sonnen Backup Battery certified, with over 3 years dedicated B2B and B2C solar sales experience in the state of New York. Previous to solar, Michael has over 10 years experience with business development and sales in traditional and digital media. Michael was featured in the February 2015 Forbes Article "Four Things US Business Owners Can Learn From Their Counterparts Around the World"
Kevin is a Project Coordinator at YSG. Kevin works on Operations and Development of both residential and community solar projects for YSG. This includes interconnection and permitting processes, inspection scheduling, and NYSERDA incentive funding. Also in his scope of work is developing community solar projects from site development to policy research. A 2015 graduate of Manhattan College in Business Administration, he immediately pursued a Masters in Public Administration from Pace University graduating in the spring of 2017. While earning his MPA, Kevin worked for energy consulting firm ICF as an Energy Efficiency Associate Intern assisting the NYC Mayor's Office of Sustainability. He now continues his work in energy and sustainability here at YSG Solar.
